Statement of Faith

At Simply Grace Church, our beliefs are rooted in Scripture and centered on Jesus Christ. We hold to the historic Christian faith while creating space for authentic questions and spiritual growth

The Bible

We believe the Bible is God’s inspired, authoritative Word—our guide for faith and life. Scripture reveals God’s character, His plan for humanity, and how we can know Him personally through Jesus Christ.

(2 Timothy 3:16-17))

God

We believe in one God who exists eternally as three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is loving, just, merciful, and sovereign over all creation.

(Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14)

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead, and now reigns as Lord. Salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ.

(John 3:16, Romans 10:9-10)

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit lives in every believer, empowering us to live for God, grow in character, and serve with spiritual gifts. The Spirit guides us into truth and transforms us to become more like Christ.

(John 14:26, Galatians 5:22-23)

Salvation

We believe salvation is a free gift from God, received through faith in Jesus Christ—not by our works or goodness. When we place our trust in Jesus, confess Him as Lord, and turn from sin, we are forgiven, made new, and adopted into God’s family.

(Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 6:23)

The Church

We believe the church is the body of Christ—a community of believers called to worship God, grow in faith, serve one another, and share the gospel. Every believer is a vital part of the church and has been given gifts to build up the body.

(1 Corinthians 12:12-27, Ephesians 4:11-16)

Eternity

We believe Jesus will return to judge the living and the dead. Those who trust in Christ will spend eternity with God in heaven. We live with hope, knowing our future is secure in Him.

(John 14:1-3, Revelation 21:1-4)
